We are Welsh Springer Spaniel owners and fanciers living (mostly) in the central part of the US and we are dedicated to enjoying, promoting and preserving the breed. Our members enjoy many activities with their Welshies including hunting, conformation, rally, obedience, agility, tracking and, especially, family time.

Welsh Springer Spaniels are merry spaniels of a handy size. Originating in Wales, they were bred to flush and retrieve game birds such as pheasant, quail and grouse. They are loyal, loving companions and can be trained to do a variety of things. They are smart, quick learners, responding best to positive training methods and bored by repetition. Energetic and naturally inquisitive, they can also be incredibly silly.

Welshies are blessed with a relatively short self-cleaning coat that is always an exuberant red and white. There are few things more beautiful than a Welsh working a field, springing through the grass with the sunlight sparkling off their coat.
